Is becoming an Internal Medicine Physician worth it?

Is becoming an Internal medicine physician worth it? https://www.umhs-sk.org/blog/what-is-internal-medicine#worth_it There is a great deal of optimism regarding the employment market for internal medicine professionals in the future. In point of fact, it is anticipated that there will be a shortage of internal medicine physicians amounting to between 35,000 and 44,000 by the year 2025. This deficit represents a gap of 20 to 27 percent. This growing demand can be attributed, in part, to the growing elderly population that is over the age of 65 and seeks the treatment of internal medicine physicians at a rate that is two times higher than that of persons who are under the age of 65. In addition, many doctors who have completed training in internal medicine choose to further their education by completing a fellowship in one of the subspecialties of internal medicine.
